Who is this degree for?
Bachelors of Applied Arts and Science (BAAS) degree plans are individualized to each student. All OWLS programs are designed to give working adults an accelerated route to a degree by earning credit for work experience, non-collegiate instruction and test scores.
Our department offers mostly online or hybrid courses that take place in the evening that are often at an accelerated pace (8 week course vs 16 weeks). Depending on your remaining requirements, courses from other departments on campus may be delivered in a traditional format. However, Texas State offers courses online, hybrid, and in evening options. Students can focus their remaining courses by area or field while learning from expert faculty!
Up to 72 credits from community and/or junior colleges can be accepted for this program.
