Rotor-Wing Flight Training
Helicopter aviation opens a dimension of flight that fixed wing simply can't reach. TXST Aviation's rotor-wing partners operate FAA Part 141 certified programs at regional airports across the country, training students in the precision skills that define professional helicopter pilots — hover control, low-altitude navigation, and confined area operations from day one.
TXST students progress through Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, Commercial Pilot, and Flight Instructor certifications in rotorcraft — all while earning a Texas State University B.A.A.S. degree. Graduates are prepared for careers in emergency medical services, offshore energy, law enforcement, search and rescue, and aerial operations across industries where helicopter pilots are in high demand and short supply.
